Suntribe Protetor Solar Mineral SPF50 Extra Suave 100ml

The sunscreen Suntribe made for people who gave up on mineral SPF because of the white cast. It uses two mineral filters — non-nano titanium dioxide 8% and non-nano zinc oxide 7% — but adds karanja seed oil, which cuts the whitening down to a faint transparent shimmer instead of a chalky mask.

The rest of the formula is doing skincare work: aloe vera water and shea butter for moisture, evening primrose, olive and rice bran oils, liquorice root extract and bisabolol from chamomile to calm irritation, and vitamin E as an antioxidant. Unlike most of the Suntribe range, this one contains no beeswax, so it is vegan.

How to use. Apply generously about 15 minutes before sun exposure and let it settle rather than rubbing until it vanishes — a mineral filter needs to stay as a layer to work. Reapply every two hours, and after swimming or towelling dry.
