Soy Protein Isolate, Unflavoured
A note on the brand: this is a NOW Sports product, not a Só Verde own-brand supplement — we do not manufacture supplements. If you see it labelled otherwise anywhere, the pack is the authority.

- A complete plant protein with a full amino acid profile
What makes soy protein unusual among plant proteins
It is complete. Most single plant proteins are low in one or more essential amino acids — grains in lysine, pulses in methionine — which is why traditional cuisines pair them. Soy is one of the few that supplies all of them in useful proportions on its own, which is why it has been the benchmark plant protein in nutrition research for decades.
On phytoestrogens — the question everyone asks
Soy contains isoflavones, sometimes called phytoestrogens, and there is a persistent worry that these affect hormones in men. It is worth answering honestly: reviews and meta-analyses of the human evidence have not found that soy foods or soy protein reduce testosterone or raise oestrogen in men at ordinary intakes. The scare originated largely from animal studies at doses far beyond a human diet, plus a small number of case reports involving extreme consumption.
What we will not do is turn that into a health claim in the other direction. No health claim for soy isoflavones is authorised in the EU. If you have a hormone-sensitive condition, or you take thyroid medication — soy can reduce levothyroxine absorption, so it needs to be separated in time — speak to your doctor.
ALLERGEN: contains SOY, one of the fourteen major declarable allergens.
